Detailed Terms and Conditions

1. Dual Balance Structure

• Each qualifying gift card purchased under this promotion will hold two separate and distinct balances:
• The Purchased Value: The monetary amount paid by the customer. This balance is governed by standard gift card policy (*link*).
• The Promotional Bonus Credit (or "Voucher"): The additional credit added at no extra cost, provided as a sales incentive. The bonus amount is calculated as follows:
• A fixed bonus credit of $12.50 will be added to gift card purchases between $50.00 and $99.99, or to any remaining amount between $50.00 and $99.99 after full $100.00 increments have been applied (see stacking example below).
• A fixed bonus credit of $50.00 will be added for each $100.00 increment of the gift card purchase amount (e.g., a $300.00 purchase receives $150.00 in total bonus credit).
• Purchases that combine both tiers will receive the applicable bonus credit from each tier, added together (e.g., a $151.00 purchase receives $50.00 for the first $100.00, plus $12.50 for the remaining $51.00, for a total of $62.50 in bonus credit). Any remaining amount below $50.00 after full $100.00 increments have been applied does not qualify for an additional bonus credit (e.g., a $120.00 purchase receives $50.00 in total bonus credit, with the remaining $20.00 not eligible for a bonus).

2. Expiration and Validity

• Purchased Value (The amount paid): This value never expires. It remains valid until fully used, consistent with federal and state gift card laws.
• Promotional Bonus Credit (The bonus amount): It remains available for redemption until fully used.

3. Redemption Priority

Redemption will first be deducted from the Promotional Bonus Credit until depleted, after which the Purchased Value will apply.

4. Disclosures and Liability

• The Promotional Bonus Credit is an incentive/voucher only and is not considered a gift card, gift certificate, or stored value card.
• As the Promotional Bonus Credit is issued without monetary consideration or exchange, it is not subject to the consumer protections of the CARD Act of 2009 or state gift card laws.
• The Promotional Bonus Credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash, except where explicitly required by law.
• The Purchased Value is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the CMX Gift Card
• All gift card purchases made under this promotion are final. No refunds will be issued for the Purchased Value or the Promotional Bonus Credit, except where required by applicable law.
• In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any other CMX communication or material, including the general Gift Card FAQ at cmxcinemas.com/gift-cards, these Terms shall govern with respect to the Promotional Bonus Credit and this promotion.

5. Purchase Restriction

Ineligibility for Purchase of Additional Gift Cards: Any gift card issued under this promotion, regardless of whether funds are drawn from the Purchased Value or the Promotional Bonus Credit, is strictly ineligible for use in the purchase of any other gift cards. This restriction applies to all gift card types, including but not limited to, standard, e-gift, and subsequent promotional gift cards. This measure prevents the compounding or "cycling" of promotional incentives.
