How do I purchase tickets?

Online: We recommend purchasing tickets online at our website or mobile app. To begin, select your movie and showtime, and then proceed to pick your seat. Once you have chosen your seat selection, you will be taken to the payment screen. Complete your payment, and you will receive an email confirmation with your tickets.

Theatre: we also have kiosks available to purchase your tickets. The exact process above applies. You can also purchase at the box office.

How do I pick up the tickets I purchased online?

Skip the line! Present your ticket confirmation barcode directly to the ticket podium for expedited service at the theatre! This can be found in our mobile app.

Want to pick up your tickets? Visit the theatre box office or kiosk to print your tickets.

Kiosk: Scan your confirmation barcode or enter your confirmation number to print your tickets.

Theatre Box Office: Present your confirmation email (on your smartphone or printed out), confirmation number, or barcode to receive your tickets.

How do I purchase advanced tickets?

Advanced tickets become available when the studios set them for sale. Once they are listed for sale in our coming soon/pre-sale section, you will see a buy button. Click the buy button and select your showtime. Then you will select your seat and complete the payment.

How many days in advance are showtimes available?

The movie schedule is made on a week-to-week basis, and show times usually are not finalized until Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning at most theatre locations. This is due to the film department negotiating with the studios on how many prints must be at each location for the films playing.

Why is an online fee added to the price of each ticket?

To provide this online service, we add a minimal charge as an online fee. You are guaranteed a seat and avoid a sold-out showing by purchasing tickets online in advance.

Why can’t I see movies in my booking history?

When making a purchase online, you will need to be signed into your account for your transactions to populate in the booking history.

How do I view ticket prices?

Every theatre location has different prices for specific days, times, special events, and ticket types. To view ticket types and prices, select your desired showtime from any theatre or movie page. The ticket types and prices will be listed in the ticket selection area for your chosen showtime.

How do I refund my tickets?

Tickets can only be refunded before your showtime. Please visit our www.cmxcinemas.com/refunds to complete your refund and a full list of rules.

How do I refund tickets purchased through 3^rd party service such as Fandango or Atom Tickets?

Fandango: please contact them at least 2 hours before your movie showtime at 1-866-857-5191 or request a refund through Fandango’s customer service form. If you have any further questions regarding Fandango policies and procedures, please visit Fandango.com for more information.

What is CMX’s age policy for Children and Seniors?

How do I redeem a Courtesy Pass?

Courtesy Passes may only be redeemed at the Box Office. Additional fees may apply to Premium Format Films. Our Box Office Team Member will be able to assist you further.

How do I purchase a Gift Card or e-Gift Card?

You can skip the lines and order online at www.cmxcinemas.com/gift-cards . You can also purchase Gift Cards at the box office at any location.

What can I purchase using a Gift Card?

Gift Cards can be used to buy tickets, food, and drinks (including alcoholic drinks). The Gift Card can be used online at cmxcinemas.com website or mobile app.

What’s the difference between a physical Gift Card or an e-Gift Card?

A physical Gift Card is a tangible plastic card that can fit into a wallet. It can be swiped and used like a credit card. An e-Gift card is only the number of the Gift Card and must be manually inputted. The value and what you can purchase are the same for both types of gift cards.

How do I check the balance of my Gift Card?

Visit https://www.cardbalance.net/ to check your balance online.

Can I use my Gift Card at any location?

Yes, you can use your gift card at any location.

Can I reload my Physical Gift Card?

Yes, you can reload your physical Gift Card at the box office of any location.

Does a CMX Gift Card or e-Gift Card expire?

No, Gift Cards do not expire. However, eBonus cards do.

An eBonus card is used for a special promotion and does have an expiration date.

Can I get a refund for CMX gift cards or e-Gift Card?

No, we do not offer refunds or cash exchanges for any time of Gift Card.

What is CMX Rewards?

CMX Rewards is a free loyalty program for our guests. You earn free movie vouchers and $5 Food and Beverage vouchers for purchasing tickets, food, and non-alcoholic beverages.

How do I sign up for an account?

Visit www.cmxcinemas.com/rewards on our website to sign up for the program. Once you are signed up, you will be issued a Rewards Membership Number.

Is there a cost for joining CMX Rewards?

No, this is a free program for all guests who are about 18 years of age.

How do I earn points?

Make sure you are signed into your account when you make purchases online when using the website or our mobile app.

When at the box office, concessions window, or ordering from a team member, show them your Digital Membership Card in the mobile app.

If you do not have your Digital Membership Card, our team members can look up your information using your telephone number on the account. You can also share your Reward Membership number too.

Do I get a membership card?

No, membership cards are not provided in this program. We offer a Digital Membership Card in our mobile app.

What are the levels of the program?

We have three levels of the program. When you first join, you will be a Gold member. To reach higher levels, you must earn visits. Visits are counted when you purchase food or non-alcoholic beverages. A visit can only be counted once per day.

How do I become a Gold, Platinum, or Diamond member?

When you sign up for rewards, you are a Gold Member. Once you have completed 10 Food or Beverage purchases (visits), you will be upgraded to the Platinum level. To reach Diamond, a guest must make 17 Food and Beverage purchases (visits) in a year.

On Jan 1^st, if you have not maintained your level of Food and Beverage purchases, you will be downgraded. Only one food and beverage per day will be counted.

How do I maintain my Gold, Platinum, and Diamond membership level?

On Jan 1^st, if you have not maintained your Food and Beverage purchases status for the past year, you will be downgraded to the appropriate level.

You can earn your way back to a status level.

I forgot to scan my QR code. Can I still get my CMX Rewards points?

Yes, you can email rewards@cmxcinemas.com a copy of your receipt, and they can adjust your account. Please allow 5-7 business days for them to follow up.

I cannot access my account. What do I do?

You can reset your password to your account at www.cmxcinemas.com/forgot-password

How do I cancel my membership?

In the mobile app, you can delete your account. This will delete your CMX Rewards membership program.

Where do I view my account status?

On the website, you can view your rewards dashboard at www.cmxcinemas/cmxrewards. Our mobile app lets you view your rewards dashboard by clicking the rewards button in the bottom toolbar.

How do I use my $7 Tickets on Wednesday?

These can only be used online or through our mobile app. You cannot purchase these at the theatre.

You can view your Rewards in your Rewards Dashboard on the website or mobile app.

What happens when I reach 500 points?

When you reach 500 points, you receive a Choice Reward. A Choice Reward can be redeemed for a Free Movie ticket or a $5 Food and Beverage Voucher.

Your dial counter will reset to zero so you can begin earning toward your next reward.

How do I earn Free Movie Tickets for buying movie tickets?

We will send you a free movie ticket when you reach your goal threshold. You can find this free movie ticket in your rewards dashboard. We also send an email notification.

Gold will receive a free movie ticket for every 10 movie tickets purchased.

Platinum will receive a free movie ticket for every 7 movie tickets purchased.

Diamond will receive a free movie ticket for every 5 movie tickets purchased.

Your dial counter will reset to zero so you can begin earning toward your next reward.

How do I use my Movie Ticket Voucher?

To use your Free Movie Ticket Voucher, select your movie and showtime using our website or mobile app. A dialogue box will appear and ask you if you’d like to use your Free Movie Ticket.

This is the same process for your Birthday, Anniversary, and any Free Ticket Voucher Reward.

You can use your Free Ticket Voucher at the box office. Open your mobile app to your Rewards Dashboard. Show our team members your Free Ticket Voucher, and they will apply it to your purchase.

Do my Rewards expire?

Yes, all rewards (tickets or food and beverage vouchers) expire 60 days after they are issued.

How do I refund my Free Ticket Voucher Reward if my I change my showtime?

Follow the same process for refunding any ticket. Visit www.cmxcinemas.com/refunds, and your Free Ticket Voucher will be placed back into your account within 20 minutes.
