Infinity records: Nothing can stop this titan

We all knew that Infinity War was going to be big. One just had to take a moment to look back upon the 10 year old road that brought us here. A superproduction that redefines the term “superproduction”. Each and every Marvel Cinematographic Universe movie has been blockbuster hit but, as you need many heroes to face Thanos, one would need to gather a lot of movies to match what IW is accomplishing.

The first world record that standed in the way of this colossus was “world biggest box office premiere”. The reigning movie was Fast & Furious 7 with $541 million dollars. The movie directed by the Russo Brothers reached the overwhelming number of $630 million. Almost 100 million more that it’s immediate competitor.

It became the Nº1 movie in practically every market that it premiered. Outside the U.S. it gathered $42.2 million dollars in the U.K.; $39.2 million in Korea; with the third place beign taken by Mexico and its $25.2 million box office.

When the movie premiered in China, the 2nd world record was about to be surpassed: biggest box office superhero movie of all time. Just a couple of days later, it bested Age of Ultron and it’s $1.600 million dollars.

The new Avengers movie is going steady to claim the “biggest box office summer movie of all time”. It’s just a matter of time before Jurassic World also falls to the unstoppable Marvel’s Titan of a movie.

And we cannot also ignore the fact of the sheer amount of a-grade stars that create a world-record cast: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Pom Klementieff, Terry Notary, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Tessa Thompson, Zoe Saldana, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tom Hiddleston, Cobie Smulders, Paul Bettany, Sebastian Stan, Peter Dinklage, Samuel L. Jackson, Benicio del Toro, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, William Hurt, among others. A list you cannot read without taking a breath.

A final note for the ones who still haven’t watched the movie: You are not going to watch a movie, you are goin to watch cinema history in the making.
